Minimally Invasive Skin Tightening in Scottsdale

BodyTite by InMode

Excess skin and fat in different parts of the body is a common cosmetic challenge. While lifestyle adjustments such as exercise and diet may help, they do not always work. Many patients will thus turn to surgical procedures such as liposuction and tummy tuck to alleviate these aesthetic issues. BodyTite is an innovative new minimally-invasive procedure that uses radio frequency energy to address mild to moderate skin laxity without the downsides of surgery.
Our surgeons offer this award-winning skin tightening procedure to patients in Scottsdale and Phoenix. This treatment is designed to tone and tighten the skin of the torso and extremities without the need for incisions as is the case with surgical procedures. Dr. Tessler and Dr. Turin conduct BodyTite treatments in their in-office operating room and work with patients from Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the surrounding AZ areas.

Benefits of BodyTite

BodyTite minimally invasive skin tightening procedure offers many unique benefits:

  • Tightens loose and hanging skin.
  • Targets small pockets of fat to achieve a well-sculpted outcome.
  • Stimulates the production of collagen to achieve a smoother and youthful skin appearance.
  • Achieves long-lasting results without the need for surgery and visible incisions.
  • Safe procedure with a device that comes with system safeguards to regulate skin temperature and reduce the risk of thermal injury.
  • Gives your self-confidence a boost.

BodyTite Procedure

BodyTite works by using Radio Frequency Assisted Lipolysis to liquefy and remove fat from targeted areas while also tightening the skin. Thermal energy is applied under and above the skin in order to simultaneously achieve fat removal and skin tightening. During the treatment, the plastic surgeon will mark and map out the treatment area(s). The next step is to administer a local anesthetic into the treatment area so as to ensure your comfort, as well as a drug to reduce bleeding and facilitate fat removal. The BodyTite device, which is connected to a handpiece, comes with two probes. One of these probes is slid under the treatment area via a small incision that the surgeon will make. The second probe is kept above the skin. The heat generated as the Radio Frequency handpiece is moved around will help dissolve fat cells, generate collagen, and trigger your skin to contract and tighten. The surgeon may then use liposuction to remove the unwanted, warmed-up fat. The entire BodyTite treatment can range from 30 minutes to a few hours based on the number and size of treatment areas.

Recovery After BodyTite Nonsurgical Treatment

Recovery after BodyTite treatment varies based on the extent of the treatment provided. Smaller treatment areas may only need a few days while larger areas such as the buttocks, abdomen, thighs, and hips can take as much as 10 days. Immediately after the treatment, patients are encouraged to get enough rest and avoid any strenuous activities. You may be able to resume normal activities gradually within the first two weeks’ post-procedure. The most important thing is that you adhere to your surgeon’s post-op instructions so as to ensure an uninterrupted and prompt recovery after this treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

BodyTite by InMode FAQ

How does BodyTite work?

BodyTite non-surgical procedure works by utilizing a hi-tech device that employs RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) to deliver 3D tissue remodeling through volumetric heating and fat coagulation. The treatment aims to loosen unwanted pockets of fat so it is easier to remove, while also contracting and tightening the skin to achieve a smoother and youthful appearance.

BodyTite vs FaceTite

Both BodyTite and FaceTite are nonsurgical cosmetic treatments that use advanced InMode devices. The BodyTite handpiece is designed to alleviate skin laxity in areas of the torso and extremities, including the belly, thighs, hips, back, love handles, neck, back, buttocks, and knees. FaceTite – on the other hand – is a much more precise handpiece that works on specific facial areas to ensure a fresher and firmer skin quality.

What is the cost of BodyTite in Phoenix?

The cost of BodyTite treatment will vary based on the extent of the treatment areas, along with the surgeon’s experience, location, and facility fees. Most of our patients in Phoenix and surrounding Arizona areas can expect to pay anywhere between $3,500 and $16,000 for this treatment. The surgeon’s office will provide an individualized cost estimate during your consultation visit at Tessler Plastic Surgery.

How many BodyTite treatments are needed?

For most patients, a single BodyTite procedure is enough to realize the results they are looking for. In some rare cases, patients may need a second treatment to achieve the desired changes. Dr. Tessler and Dr. Turin will discuss the modalities of your treatment after evaluating your problem areas and understanding your expectations from this treatment.

What are the side effects of BodyTite?

While BodyTite is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that does not involve visible incisions, it has a few side effects. These include temporary changes in skin tone, bruising, swelling, redness, and sensitivity in the treatment areas. These changes typically resolve on their own within the first 10 weeks post-treatment. Although uncommon, more severe side effects may include burns and seromas (pockets of fluid).

When will I see the results?

Following BodyTite minimally invasive plastic surgery, patients may notice a reduction in excess fat within the first 12 weeks. It may take up to 6 months before you can realize the skin tightening benefits of this treatment. Keep in mind though that individual results may vary from patient to patient. If you are anxious about when your procedure will yield a noticeable outcome, be sure to discuss this with Dr. Tessler or Dr. Turin.
