Minimally Invasive Skin Tightening in Scottsdale

BodyTite by InMode

Excess skin and fat in different parts of the body is a common cosmetic challenge. While lifestyle adjustments such as exercise and diet may help, they do not always work. Many patients will thus turn to surgical procedures such as liposuction and tummy tuck to alleviate these aesthetic issues. BodyTite is an innovative new minimally-invasive procedure that uses radio frequency energy to address mild to moderate skin laxity without the downsides of surgery.
Our surgeons offer this award-winning skin tightening procedure to patients in Scottsdale and Phoenix. This treatment is designed to tone and tighten the skin of the torso and extremities without the need for incisions as is the case with surgical procedures. Dr. Tessler and Dr. Turin conduct BodyTite treatments in their in-office operating room and work with patients from Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the surrounding AZ areas.

BodyTite Procedure

BodyTite works by using Radio Frequency Assisted Lipolysis to liquefy and remove fat from targeted areas while also tightening the skin. Thermal energy is applied under and above the skin in order to simultaneously achieve fat removal and skin tightening. During the treatment, the plastic surgeon will mark and map out the treatment area(s). The next step is to administer a local anesthetic into the treatment area so as to ensure your comfort, as well as a drug to reduce bleeding and facilitate fat removal. The BodyTite device, which is connected to a handpiece, comes with two probes. One of these probes is slid under the treatment area via a small incision that the surgeon will make. The second probe is kept above the skin. The heat generated as the Radio Frequency handpiece is moved around will help dissolve fat cells, generate collagen, and trigger your skin to contract and tighten. The surgeon may then use liposuction to remove the unwanted, warmed-up fat. The entire BodyTite treatment can range from 30 minutes to a few hours based on the number and size of treatment areas.

Recovery

Recovery After BodyTite Nonsurgical Treatment

Recovery after BodyTite treatment varies based on the extent of the treatment provided. Smaller treatment areas may only need a few days while larger areas such as the buttocks, abdomen, thighs, and hips can take as much as 10 days. Immediately after the treatment, patients are encouraged to get enough rest and avoid any strenuous activities. You may be able to resume normal activities gradually within the first two weeks’ post-procedure. The most important thing is that you adhere to your surgeon’s post-op instructions so as to ensure an uninterrupted and prompt recovery after this treatment.

BodyTite by InMode FAQ

U

How does BodyTite work?

BodyTite non-surgical procedure works by utilizing a hi-tech device that employs RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) to deliver 3D tissue remodeling through volumetric heating and fat coagulation. The treatment aims to loosen unwanted pockets of fat so it is easier to remove, while also contracting and tightening the skin to achieve a smoother and youthful appearance.

BodyTite vs FaceTite

Both BodyTite and FaceTite are nonsurgical cosmetic treatments that use advanced InMode devices. The BodyTite handpiece is designed to alleviate skin laxity in areas of the torso and extremities, including the belly, thighs, hips, back, love handles, neck, back, buttocks, and knees. FaceTite – on the other hand – is a much more precise handpiece that works on specific facial areas to ensure a fresher and firmer skin quality.

These changes typically resolve on their own within the first 10 weeks post-treatment. Although uncommon, more severe side effects may include burns and seromas (pockets of fluid).
